Board of Trustees

Akintunde Akinmolayan

Akintunde is the founder of Wellness Africa Foundation. The inspiration to establish the health-focused NGO was borne out of his exposure to the mostly under-reported or often unspoken health challenges and nutritional status of rural households (mainly primary food producers). As a trained Agriculturist, he believes that farmers’ health should be on the agenda; thus, priority should be placed on farmers and their households having access to quality health care services plus medical cover (health insurance) by governments, development partners and agribusinesses, among others. Ultimately, a healthy producer of food is an indispensable asset to the wellbeing of the nation.

Omotola Akinmolayan

Omotola is the co-founder of Wellness Africa Foundation. She is passionate about public health, especially global medicine and rural health. As a trained health practitioner, she finds the NGO as a viable platform to give expression to that which she loves to do
